Sadly the years slip by

Momma past away this fall at 94 years of age.  I've done much for her, but little for family stories and history.  This journal was ment to be relevant, and perhaps going forward I will put in the time.

What a phenomenal day. Mother, Susan Rhodes and I went to Helen Long's House on Balboa Island for lunch with her Bob and Diana. Wow! Not only was the weather perfect, the scene has not changed in 65 years. I brought along a DVD I had made from one of dad's home movies from 1946. Stories of the Mountain Manor had us laughing so hard. These college grads had a house in Glendale as their bachelor pad. Here we are 70 years later with their wives still friends.
